Instructions for the Original GROUTMATCH™

WHAT YOU NEED:

Groutmatch™ and a small amount about 1/3 cup of your dry unmixed cement based grout, caulking gun, utility knife or scissors, caulk finishing tool (optional) .

ENCLOSED IN KIT :

The instructions are printed on the back of each tube,  inside is the kit consisting of a  measuring cup, a plastic mixing bag, and a twist tie.

(Note: Only individually sold tubes have the kit inside, Cases have 12 kits inside the box.)

1.Cut tip of caulk tube.

2. Squirt approximately ½ the tube of Groutmatch™ into the provided mixing plastic bag.

3. Using provided cup measure approximately 2 level cups of your dry cement based grout powder into plastic bag and then add the remainder of the Groutmatch™ from the tube.

and twist top of bag to close making sure there is very little air left in the bag, then use twist tie to secure.

4.Using finger push tip of bag up into middle of mixture and squish, squeeze and knead until well mixed and of uniform color. This takes only about a minute or two and you may see some slight color patches, that is usually normal but you may want to give just another minute of mixing.

5. For vessel sinks or other hard to reach areas Groutmatch™ can be used like a grout bag, just pull the pointed tip of the bag down and cut to the desired opening (try smaller first, you can always cut more). Holding top of bag in one hand and tip in other squeeze and twist and lay bead of caulk where needed. 

For the best results we recommend the use of an Applicator Tube™ and a caulking gun.

6. Insert into Applicator Tube™ ( Instructions are Printed on the Applicator Tube™)  

7.Use product immediately after mixing. 

A finishing tool is recommended for professional looking results. 

Product remains dispensable in bag for up to 30 minutes approx. Varies depending on temperature and humidity and could last up to 3 to 6 hrs, but we recommend immediate use.

OPEN TIME: Product must be tooled quickly after being dispensed, usually within 5 minutes or less.

DRY TIME: Product will skin over and be dry to touch within approx 10 minutes and fully cured usually in 24 hours

( all times will vary due to temperature, humidity and job site conditions)

Clean up should be done quickly with clean cloth or paper towel and use of our cleaner is highly recommended for ease of use. 

You can also try Denatured Alcohol but it is less effective, however, using any other type of solvent is strictly advised against.

Areas including but not limited to tile, stone, porcelain, ceramic, metal, glass, aluminum, masonry, stainless steel. PVC. Polystyrene, wood (finished or unfinished), or plastic installations.
